The practical part

Prepare the bath bombs and slowly remove them from the mould.

Research part
1. Carefully remove the prepared bombs from the moulds. 
2. Prepare a large test container. A plastic steambox can be used. 
3 Fill the container with tap water. 
4. Then gently submerge the bath bomb. 
5. Fill in the table below:

6. Answer the questions:
– What process did you use to make the bath bombs?
– Did the properties of the bubble bombs change when they were put in the water? In what way?

Conclusion

In this project, the students studied substances and their properties. They made these bath bombs. They also practically learned about mixing and dissolving processes. 

On this project, each pupil is awarded a STEAM title, in several categories:

– You have independently, researched the properties of substances and investigated the properties of the finished product, you are a real scientist!
– You have independently produced a product called a bath bomb. Congratulations, you are a true chemist!
