Making a layout of the road (week 3)

2. Get plastic food container lids. Separate the center from the edge with scissors.

Cut off the centerpiece measuring 11.5 cm x 9.5 cm and mark the lines on it as shown in the picture

Take the edges of the lids and cut out the details for the legs of the structure.

6 pieces of 2.3 cm

9 pieces of 2.2 cm

3 pieces of 2.1 cm

Glue the legs to the top of the structure according to the following scheme (for the top and bottom dishes, respectively)                                    

3. Measure the length and width of the inside of the road dish. Using the obtained values, cut out the required piece of foam rubber and place it in a dish.

Cut the agro fiber according to the size of the foam rubber. Glue the edges of the agro fiber to the foam rubber using thermoplastic adhesive.

4. Download and print a document with road signs layouts [ link ]. Cut out the pieces using the dotted lines. Glue the pieces to the road.
