The practical part

Project presentation

1. In this session, each group takes turns putting on a shadow theatre in front of a table lamp and staging their own shadow scenes according to their own script. 
2. Divide into groups.
3. Take turns presenting your project.
4. When one group is presenting, the other teams listen carefully and then act as a jury.
5. For the evaluation of each project, read the evaluation rubric in advance, focusing on the criteria – collaboraƟon (team work) and presentaƟon.
6. Then give the appropriate marks to each team.
7. After the presentation, ask questions about the shadow: What is a shadow? Did you manage to use the shadow better? etc.

Conclusion

On this project, the students learned about shadow by putting on an interesting fairy tale and performance.

On this project, each student is awarded a STEAM title, in several categories:

– You have independently, investigated the dependence of shadow on the size of an obstacle and the distance from the source to the obstacle, you are a real physical scientist!

– You, yourself, have produced a model of a shadow theatre. This in turn is a technological process. Congratulations, you are a young engineer and technologist!

– You have independently written the script for your theatre production and presented it to an audience. Congratulations, you are a future drama director!
