Lesson 2
In the last lesson, you planted bacteria from different samples in an agar-agar nutrient medium. Today you will do analysis by observing the results obtained from the samples.
Step 1: Check plates after incubation. Observe the changes. Which sample clearly shows intense bacterial growth? What conclusions can be drawn from this? How long did it take for bacteria to grow? Compare the results with the work of other students.

Step 2: Try looking at them under a microscope. Pay attention to their shape. a – colony of bacteria, b – mold fungus (80x); c-colony of bacteria, d-mold fungus (200x)

Step 3: Record your observations on the worksheet. Draw conclusions about the presence and abundance of bacteria in your samples.
Conclusion
Through hands-on lab work, students honed their skills in cultivating bacterial cultures. Mastering agar preparation, sample collection, and colony counting techniques provided valuable insights into bacterial growth, applicable across diverse scientific and technological fields.
