Solar systems that track the sun’s changing trajectory throughout the day collect a much higher amount of solar energy, and therefore generate much higher power output, so the easiest way to get more energy out of a solar panel is to get it to track the sun. In this project, pupils will learn what a solar tracker is and how it works. They will make a solar tracker using an Arduino Uno.
