Earth’s Rotation on Its Axis

This project is designed to demonstrate the scientific concept of Earth’s rotation on its axis through a simple experiment. Using the model, students will observe how the planet rotates and understand the consequences of this phenomenon (the alternation of day and night).

  • White cardboard - 1 piece
  • Black cardboard - 1 piece
  • DC motor - 1 piece
  • Male-to-male wires - 2 pieces
  • Copper tape (can be replaced with foil)
  • Round battery - 1 piece
  • Corrugated cardboard - 2*2 cm
  • Hot glue gun, scissors, glue, electrical tape, needle
