Rainwater Cleaning Garden

In this project, students will create a small model of a rain garden. They will observe its function as a natural filter and, through an experiment, explore how it can absorb excess rainwater and reduce pollution.

  • Bottle with cap - 1-1.5 L
  • Soft clay (plasticine)
  • Soil
  • Transparent plastic cup - 3 pcs.
  • String - 40 cm
  • Water
  • Vegetable oil
  • Food coloring
  • Oat flakes (or any other flakes)
  • Utility knife, hole punch
